Learn About Three Depots Celebrated Applaud Events in December

We were excited to highlight 3 Applauds in the month of December by customers from Beddington Heights Bottle Depot (Calgary), Thorsby Bottle Depot, and Airdrie Bottle Depot.
Beddington’s customer, Brad, owns a local business that has been serviced by the Depot for years. He said: “I always get the most incredible service. The new renovations they have done are very impressive and speed up the process to the point where I can’t see how anyone could be faster.” Jamie Kleinsteuber, MLA for the Calgary-Northern Hills, joined the Depot owners, staff and Brad at the celebration.
Thorsby Bottle Depot’s customer, Don, left their winning Applaud mentioning that their staff are always friendly and fast. Mayor Rod Raymond, councillor Ivor Foster and MLA Mark Smith congratulated the Depot over lunch with a certificate of recognition for being an integral part of the community.

Airdrie Bottle Depot’s customer, Denise (a self described “hockey mom”), commented on working with the Depot for a bottle drive for her son’s hockey team, saying: “It was a huge success thanks to the Airdrie Bottle Depot. They were great to deal with.” The Depot generously matched the prize for Denise’s Applaud, which Denise will in turn pay forward by using it to benefit the hockey team. It was great to see the support of the team, with 4 coaches and 3 players joining Denise and the Depot staff, along with Mayor Peter Brown at the event.

What an amazing group of Depots and customers we were able to celebrate this month for a wonderful end to the season. We are looking ahead to the 5th anniversary of the Applaud a Depot program!
