The School Recycling Program encourages ongoing participation in beverage container recycling by Alberta’s youth. It provides schools with free infrastructure items and fun teaching aids that are compatible with the fourth grade recycling curriculum. Sign up today and help us create a new generation of recyclers.

Beverage Container Recycling Bins
We have a variety of beverage container recycling bins available to schools. Indoor bins with fun graphics remind students to recycle, while outdoor bins store beverage containers securely outside of the school and promote community donations.

Prizes and Awards 
When your students actively recycle and you consistently report your school’s progress, your school, teachers and students will be eligible for awesome incentives like cash prizes and recognition awards that will keep the positive energy flowing.

We invite you to bring the coolest new group of recycling superheroes to your Grade 4 classroom: The Recyclers! As part of the school kit, The Recyclers assist teachers with recycling unit instruction, engage students as they raise money for your school’s fundraising initiatives… and offer a whole lot of fun along the way!
